Here are a few articles about how the Indian Government discriminates against Tamil Nadu in the economic sphere, and its adverse impact on the economy, finances, budget, taxes, industries and standard of living of Tamilnadu.

Each article provides one or two examples of economic discrimination. Each example by itself may seem minor but when taken together, we see a systematic pattern of economic decisions that are favorable to Hindi states and unfavorable to Tamil Nadu and some other non-Hindi states. Several billion Rupees of wealth from Tamil Nadu have been transferred from Tamil Nadu to Hindi-belt states of of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Uttar Pradesh during the past decade alone. Budget cuts, finance deficits, and downturn in economy are the outcome in Tamil Nadu.
